The Kirt Locker is a private personal training studio in Lake Zurich, IL that strives to supercharge your body’s ability to move better, and teach you how to train without all the pains that typically come with other training methods.
Our approach improves your physical well-being through individual personalized training programs by utilizing our systematic and integrated (total body) training method. This method incorporates six components of training: flexibility, core, cardiorespiratory, balance, power and strength.
We offer individual training as well as semi-private small group training. Because this is not a membership gym, clients get all the benefits from working out in their own unique, private personal training space. Perfect for those who don’t like the crowded gym atmosphere. Everyone from all backgrounds, fitness levels, and ages are welcome. There is no traditional membership, your visit will be by appointment only. Only personal training clients accompanied by a trainer will be allowed into the studio.
Our training is fun and effective for all ages and experience levels. Whether you’re trying to lose weight, gain strength, or build a mighty pair of legs and backside, we’ve got the right program for you!

SPORTS SPECIFIC TRAINING (ADULTS/JUNIOR 6+ years old)

PRE/POST OP TRAINING

In the past few years, there have been several systematic reviews on the effects of pre-operative exercise training in patients awaiting elective major surgery. These reviews highlight sufficient clinical trial data to support pre-operative exercise training as being safe and efficacious.
Whether you have undergone a C-section, a hernia repair, or a hysterectomy, exercise can make a difference in your recovery. These procedures often weaken abdominal muscles and the pelvic floor, leading to pain, urinary incontinence, and digestive issues. Weakened abdominal muscles can result in poor posture and back pain as well.

Our main goal is to prevent and reduce the complications stemming from childhood obesity by providing children and their families the tools necessary to lead a healthy lifestyle. From the lack of exercise to lack of motivation, online gaming to minimal school resources, there are several reasons why today’s youth have fallen behind the curve when it comes to staying active.

KIRT DAVIS
-OWNER & PERSONAL TRAINER
KIRT DAVIS is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Association of Sports Medicine and has also completed certified training with Gray Institute, Pivotal Coaching and PTA Global. He has specialized in Adaptive, Corrective, Performance and Youth exercise since 2010.
Kirt believes that any personal goal can be achieved with dedication, hard work and a positive mindset. He is very passionate about coaching adults and children to achieve a healthier lifestyle/quality of life.
In his spare time Kirt enjoys practicing golf, bike riding, and traveling.
